Quilting has long been seen as an old lady pastime, but these last few years have seen a tremendous rebirth in quilting, patchwork, and modern art. Simple techniques can create amazingly hip results, ones that you can use to cover your bed, cover yourself, or cover your walls! Learn the basics of patchwork techniques to create a mini quilt top, then cover the steps to quilting the final product into a finished piece. Plus, master the art of the rotary cutter and mat, and learn to measure to perfection. With colors and fabrics you love, it’s almost impossible to go wrong, and once you’ve got the basics under your belt and some inspiration to guide you, the sky’s the limit!

This class assumes you have basic sewing skills. We’re doing machine sewing and machine quilting: please bring your sewing machine with you!

$65 class fee includes some materials, use of shop equipment, a handout to take with you, and skills to last a lifetime.
