Join us each and every month as we tackle a new handbag pattern together. Whether you’re in need of support and encouragement, motivation and instruction, or just time set aside for this alone, Handbag of the Month gives you the opportunity to spread out your pattern pieces, cut your fabric, get expert guidance every step of the way, and walk away at the end of the month with a finished handbag, a new confidence and the shiny smile that comes from having your hand held and your problems solved along the way. Handbag pattern changes each month, so join as often as you like!

This class assumes you have experience working with a pattern, and have taken at least Intro to Sewing (or have equivalent skills).  We’ll work on the skills required by each pattern, but the class format doesn’t allow time to cover threading the machine or winding your bobbin–for brushing up on those skills, please join one of our Intro classes first!

$90 class fee covers class sessions, a copy of the pattern to keep, and as much (or as little) hand-holding as you desire. You provide fabric and thread.
