    Overmost Giveaway: CLOSED

Thanks to all of you who’ve given such great responses to the release of the Overmost!  Ever since its debut on MADE, I’ve heard nothing but complimentary words, and I’m so grateful for that.  It’s such an easy, sweet shape and a quick sew, and I really love it on girls and boys.

And because I love it so much, I’m giving you a chance to win one!

Up for grabs are FOUR finished versions of the Overmost, in four different sizes.  These are all made specifically for this giveaway, and are constructed using some fabrics I’ve been hoarding in my stash.  I think every pair turned out super cute, and had to slap my own hand to keep from saving them ALL for our kids!

Size 12m, in a Michael Miller airplane print called Fly By Day–bright blue background, aircraft all over, and a red plaid reverse.

Size 2T in an out-of-print Michael Miller Waves design, very chic and vaguely Asian, with a cotton stripe as the reverse.

Size 3T in a linen/Tencel washable blend in a softer-than-soft spring green.  Amazing drape, and lined with a wonderful leaf print cotton.

Size 4T in a fabulous Japanese cotton/linen blend from Etsuko Furuya.  Bright fuchsia, with a small-scale plaid reverse.

To win, leave a comment.  That’s all!  Giveaway is open through NEXT WEDNESDAY, July 21 at 12 noon.  Winners will be announced here on the blog, and your fabulous new Overmosts will fly to you on gentle wings!

Thanks again, everyone, for all the kind words and your endless support of independent design and the handmade.  You’re awesome.

So cute! I know a pair of girls that would love the Etsuko pair (well, sis #1 would love it right now, sis #2 later down the road)!! :)

    3. Jenna

Love your store and all the fabulous fabrics! So thankful to FINALLY have a place to buy sewing supplies inside the perimeter – even grateful to have it on the westside!

    4. Jody

Love these! Nothing cuter than a grand baby in overalls. I definitely need to check out your pattern. (I am a beginner at clothes so it would have to be pretty simple.)

    5. Mona

      and the pattern is great..

    6. Jasmine

Awesome! My daughter pretty much lives in onesies and shorts, as the minute I put a dress on her she lifts it up over her head :) . It would be great to have some prettier options, and these fit the bill!

    7. Suzanne

I love the pattern and the fabric used. I also enjoy going to the shop and the demonstrations you have had there since opening.

    8. Lorene

It was hard to pick a favorite, but I’d have to go with the airplanes!

    20. Deborah

It weakens every time I look at those airplanes–good thing they’re too small for our boy! I’d been hoarding that fabric for most of a year, but this was totally the perfect place to use it.

    21. Deborah

Because they know we’re suckers and will plunk down some cash on kids’ clothes! :)

    22. Deborah

my husband lived in Japan for a year (and claims if it wasn’t for me he’d still be there) so we are super partial to the Japanese print overmost. Oh my it’s soooo adorable! thank you!

    25. Ginger

The green 3T would be great for my toddler. The airplane fabric is too cute!

    26. Melissa

These are so sweet. This is my first time on your site, and I can already see that it will be a favorite of mine. I love that this pattern is trendy cute, but that it still reminds me of pictures of my childhood. I’m a former-NASA engineer, so the airplanes win me over easily!

    27. Mark Munger

These are so great. I’m def passing this site on to all my crafty friends.

Wow, these are fantastic! I love the design, I love the fabrics! I would be happy to win any one of them, as my baby will grow into these sizes. I think my favorites are the 3T because I just love that shade of green, but I really am oohing and ahing over all of them. Thanks for sharing them with us!

    31. Jennifer W.

I love these…. so so so cute!

    32. SewLindaAnn

Great pattern. Love the shop. A friend and I drove “in” (took about 30 mins.) and had great fun there picking out our purchases. I especially liked your 1/2 yard cuts in a very convenient box. We had a local lunch and enjoyed our time. She was actually back sooner than me since she needed more of the same print. We plan on making Whipstitch a frequent stop in the future!

    33. Marisa

All of them are so sweet and unique but that Etsuko Furuya one is by far my favorite. Love the combination of fabrics!
