Whipstitch is a lot of things. It started out as a little tiny space inside a co-op for me to teach my classes, and grew and grew and continues to evolve. Today, Whipstitch is an online community as well as an Atlanta destination. I’d love to have you visit online or in person, and am excited to share sewing and crafting and happy ideas with you no matter where you are!
Whipstitch Online
When I was just in the very beginning dream phases of this adventure, I began a blog. I can very clearly remember writing that first post, feeling like I was either starting something I’d never finish or setting my foot on a path that would whisk me away places I’d never imagined. (It really could have gone either way.) Clearly I’ve been whisked, and I’d love for you to stop a spell and visit, Southern-style! Whipstitch Lounge in Atlanta
As the idea of Whipstitch grew, it became very clear that my fair city of Atlanta was ready and hungry for a fantastic, modern sewing lounge, a place to gather and connect. A place where community could come together, where ideas could be born, where inspiration is waiting, and where there are some really, really great classes to give you the skills to make it all come true. Whipstitch Lounge opened in its present location in March 2010, and is honored to do our part to meet that need!

Whipstitch is open for members and scheduled classes. As of Feb 1, 2013, there are no regular shop hours. Please see our schedule of sewing classes to register and come by!
